Make the business money stuff easier when you're creative or neurodivergent (plus behind-the-scenes of building a business that fits).

Peaceful Money Map sessions are where I look at your business finances, find what’s invisibly draining your bank account and give you a map of what needs attention first.

Summer discount: use code MONEYMAP50 to take $50 off — valid till Sept 30.

Behind the Scenes

I'm learning the shape of messy middles after being in so many and started subconsciously using a technique I now call expand, then melt back to work my way through them.

Here's what it looks like, used to work through my latest messy middle: deciding to start a paid subscription while also planning to do less in my business.

First, expand: Let my mind expand with all the ideas and gather other people’s reactions over a few weeks. What would it look like if I was making new things?

Then, melt back: Look at the ideas I still like and think: How can I do this through what I’m already doing?

And I saw where the new ideas could melt back into things that already exist — the newsletter, Peaceful Money Talks. And even the parts that are actually new could find a precursor in pre-existing things: workshops are the extension of the money talks. My unpolished money thoughts are me sharing from my huge content ideas database.

Get to Peaceful Money

Last year I wrote a series of blog posts answering questions from business owners. The one more people have been visiting lately is: how do we keep business expenses lean when everything is getting more expensive?

In that post, I shared four different ways to look at your business expenses to decide what to cut and what to keep: affordability, impact, efficiency, and capacity.

Let’s Make This Easier

When you're staying intentionally small as a microbusiness, time management matters even more because you want to finish what you need to do without spending hours on it.

One way to do that is by creating SOPs. Sammy Bohannon of Bohannon Virtual Solutions has a free guide with templates to help you write effective SOPs.
